Starting a project from a patent

In Neural mode you can start a project from an existing patent. This is most commonly used for invalidity or opposition searching. You could also use this to quickly find similar patents to one or more that you already have on hand.

Note: Adding relevant patents only affects Neural mode, not Classic. Classic mode only supports text searching.

To add a related patent click on Add related patent

Next enter the patent number you want to add and select it from the dropdown

The patent will be added to your input panel and Update results will turn red

Click on Update results to re-sort your list. You can also remove the related patent by clicking on the X or add another by clicking +Add.
