How to exclude keywords, assignees, class codes, and inventors from results

You can use Amplified's filters to exclude particular keywords, class codes, assignees, or inventors. First, click on + Add a filter and select the type of filter you want to use.

Exclude keywords and class codes

To exclude keywords or class codes, just add the Exclude keyword or Exclude class code filter and enter the keywords or class codes you want to exclude.

Exclude assignees or inventors

To exclude assignees, you need to select the Assignee filter and include a - sign before the assignee you want to exclude. Inventors work the same way. For example, let's say you want to exclude patents owned by Amazon or invented by Jeff Bezos. You could do that like this:
