How Amplified Project Settings work

At the bottom of your project's input panel you will find PROJECT SETTINGS. These allow you to set limitations on search scope including date, legal status, publication type, and patent office. Unlike keyword and other filters under FILTER RESULTS these limitations must be controlled individually and can't be toggled on or off as a group. 

Project settings help you define the scope of a project and are usually defined by the objectives. For example, an FTO search for a company that only operates in China may want to restrict the search to live, granted patents with a Chinese family member. To do this you would set the appropriate limitations under project settings and click Update results.
