Get AI Synonym Suggestions for Your Keywords

Not sure if you're using the right terms? Amplified can suggest synonyms and related terms based on your search context and the patents it's already found.

Amplified generates a list of related terms — synonyms, technical alternatives, and variations including those that appear in your search results.

Since terms in the same group are OR'd together, adding synonyms broadens your coverage without creating conflicting filters. If a suggestion looks wrong, just remove it.

Why this matters

Patent documents often describe the same concept using different words. An inventor might write "collapsible" where you searched for "folding." Without synonyms, you'd miss those patents entirely when filtering.

But synonyms alone aren't enough. There are many ways to describe a concept, so Amplified brainstorms with you to go beyond generic thesaurus results.

Tips for using suggestions

Add suggestions to the same color group to broaden coverage. Since same-group keywords use OR logic, you'll match patents using any of the terms.

Don't start with suggestions. Trust your instincts and look at some of the search results from very focused keywords first. Then use suggestions to expand and make sure you haven't missed anything.
